Verify a credential

How verification works

Every SAAII credential is issued with a unique verification code. To confirm that a credential is genuine, current, and in good standing, you can:

1. Enter the verification code below (service opens with the first cohort), or
2. Follow the QR code printed on the credential itself, or
3. Write to certify@thesaaii.com with the credential holder’s name and the code shown on the credential

What verification confirms

A successful verification returns:

• The name of the credential holder as recorded by the Institute
• The specific credential held (Certified Practitioner, Certified Specialist, or Chartered Fellow) and the pillar or specialism
• The date the credential was awarded
• The current standing of the credential — active, suspended, or revoked
• Any published notes attached to the credential (e.g. distinction, founding-member status)

Verification does not disclose assessment marks or the content of the holder’s submitted work, unless the holder has authorised such disclosure in writing.

Suspended or revoked credentials

SAAII may suspend or revoke a credential where the holder has (a) obtained it by dishonest means, (b) materially misrepresented its scope, or (c) been convicted of an offence that in SAAII’s reasonable opinion is incompatible with holding the credential. Reporting misuse of a SAAII credential

If you believe someone is falsely claiming to hold a SAAII credential, or misrepresenting the scope of one they do hold, please let us know at certify@thesaaii.com. We take misrepresentation seriously — the value of every genuine credential depends on it.
