SAAII is an independent education body serving the compliance, risk, legal, and technical professionals now responsible for AI inside organisations.
What we do
The Security and AI Institute designs and delivers professional education in the three areas where the discipline is now consolidating: AI governance, AI risk and assurance, and AI regulation — with a particular focus on the EU AI Act.
Every programme is built around a single principle: teach what will still be true in five years. That means grounding the syllabus in regulation, standards, and enduring governance frameworks rather than in the capabilities of any particular model or vendor.
Why now
Between 2024 and 2026 the professional landscape around AI changed decisively. The EU AI Act entered into force. ISO/IEC 42001 gave organisations a certifiable AI management system. NIST published its AI Risk Management Framework. Boards began asking who, specifically, is accountable for AI inside their organisation.
The people expected to answer that question — often senior compliance, risk, and legal professionals — did not, on the whole, receive AI-specific training as part of their qualification. The Institute exists to close that gap with education that is rigorous, independent, and built for practitioners.
The next decade of AI will be shaped less by what the technology can do than by how organisations choose to govern it.
How we’re different
Independent
SAAII is not affiliated with any AI vendor, cloud provider, or model developer. Our curricula are written to serve the professional, not to promote a product.
Evergreen by design
Where other providers ship courses on the latest model release, we write to the underlying regulation, the standards, and the governance principles. Our materials are reviewed annually, but the core content is stable — and it is meant to be.
Practitioner-led
Every course is authored or reviewed by professionals who have implemented AI governance inside regulated organisations. What you learn maps to what you will actually be asked to do.
Certification that carries weight
Programmes are assessed, CPD-eligible, and issue verifiable digital credentials. Where relevant, they map to the competency frameworks emerging around AI governance roles.
